Biography
Dr. Benoit Sicre joined the Lucerne school of Engineering and Architecture in 2009 after eight years as a research fellow at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy ISE in Freiburg/Germany. His first topic of resarch is hygiene and indoor air quality.His second topic is energy efficiency increase in ventilation systems by means of renewables. He got a degree in mechanical engineering and in industrial project management and wrote his PhD in the field of energy supply to residential buildings.

Expert in the field of hygiene of ventilation and air conditioning systems (according to SWKI VA104) and indoor air quality, with focus on fine dust, odors, VOC, humidity and airborn germs.
Specialist in user acceptance in the area of building technology with the assessment of the effect under real operating conditions and the evaluation of the handling of innovation by the user.
