Biography
Andreas Marfurt is a lecturer at HSLU since September 2022, where he teaches and does research on natural language processing and MLOps. He did a postdoc at Idiap Research Institute and holds a PhD from EPFL for his thesis on Interpretable Representation Learning and Evaluation for Abstractive Summarization. Previously, he received a BSc and MSc in computer science from ETH Zurich and worked as the first employee in startups to create a health data platform and analyze user behavior on the internet.
