Biography
Mark Baldwin is an Australian architect, author and BIM expert. Since 2005 he has been involved in digital-based design and construction processes (Building Information Modeling, BIM) for complex and large-scale construction projects. He has worked in Australia, the Middle East and Europe as a project architect, BIM manager and BIM consultant.
As an expert in standards committees for BIM at the European (CEN/TC 442) and International (ISO TC59/SC13) levels, Mark Baldwin is directly involved in the development of international standards for digital ways of working.
Since 2016, Mark Baldwin has led the development of the buildingSMART International "Professional Certification Program" for training construction industry professionals in openBIM methodologies. He is also a board member of Bauen Digital Schweiz.
