Biography
Elke Rentemeister works as a researcher in the Competence Center Visual Narrative and as a lecturer in the Master Film, both at the Department Design & Art at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland, where she is currently focusing on ultrashort media. She is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Institute for Media Studies, Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. As a former design technician and now media scholar, her primary interests are aesthetics and social functions of visual media.
