Biography
Božo Paradžik was born in 1969 in Zagreb and graduated at the Academy of Music in Prague with Jirí Hudec. Since 2000 and the release of his solo debut CD with the famous record publisher EMI, he has pursued his solo career as one of the most internationally sought-after double bass players. His extensive repertoire consists mainly of works written between early classical and late romanticism. After a successful 14-year career as an orchestral musician, he already taught at the music academies in Amsterdam, Detmold, Freiburg im Breisgau and Lausanne before he became a lecturer for double bass at the Hochschule Luzern- Musik in 2010.
