In addition, a formal request stating the reason for the absence must be submitted in writing to the Study Coordinator before the end of the previous semester. The student remains enrolled during his or her break. Subject to any other agreement, no tuition fees are payable. Reasons for taking a break can include: maternity/parenthood; accident/illness; military service; special, justified circumstances.

The written application justifying the reasons must be submitted to the study coordination office before the end of the semester (end of the contact study programme). The tuition fees remain due in full. In the case of a cancellation after the end of the study programme, the full semester fees for the following semester will be charged.

Repeat courses can be postponed if a valid reason is given.
