To work on their projects, students have a range of facilities at their disposal, including the Networking Lab, a security and micro computer infrastructure and the AR/VR Lab with state-of-the-art hardware and developer workstations.
The Networking Lab is Cisco and Huaweo certified and offering a varied and state-of-the-art infrastructure for hands-on experimentation in the area of networks and services. The Lab represents the most common infrastructures in the business world. The training focuses on the basic network components as well as on basis and cloud services.
With the Lab Services, students have state-of-the-art computer resources at their disposal for all sorts of applications and exercises.
The AR/VR Lab provides access to the latest AR and VR hardware and developer workstations. It boasts nine permanent workplaces with adjacent tracking spaces for classes and project modules. On request, students can also use hardware for advanced applications.
The workshops and Maker Spaces at the Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology are located in House A at Suurstoffi 1 on the Zug-Rotkreuz campus. The Hi-tech workshops are open to students and employees alike. A competence center for prototype construction and digital fabrication, the rooms are equipped with a hybrid infrastructure.
