The Academy offers two distinct educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of blockchain enthusiasts and developers : PBA-X and PBA Campus. PBA-X is an online program designed for both developers and non-developers, making blockchain fundamentals accessible to everyone. PBA Campus takes a more advanced approach with its immersive in-person programs tailored specifically for developers.
What is PBA Campus?
PBA Campus delivers the Academy’s flagship, 2.5 week, in-person educational program for developers, with two distinct tracks to choose from: The Protocol On-Chain track and the dApps Off-Chain track.
PBA Campus is returning to Europe for Cohort 6, hosted at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) in Switzerland, starting March 2025. This is a collaboration from Polkadot with the Blockchain Lab at HSLU, as part of the "Blockchain Zug – Joint Research Initiative" introduced by the Canton of Zug, with the aim to create a global institute for blockchain research and innovation. classes will be held at HSLU’s School of Computer Science campus in Rotkreuz. Designed for blockchain and web2 developers exploring web3, the program offers hands-on training with Polkadot’s tech stack, empowering participants to build innovative blockchain solutions. Renowned Polkadot experts, including Dr. Gavin Wood, will lead key sessions, providing students with the tools to become web3 innovators.
