The Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology’s Immersive Realities Center is an interdisciplinary ecosystem within the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts where we are working toward merging the virtual and the real using Augmented and Virtual Reality.

Degreee Programmes

From fall 2024, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts will offer the first Bachelor's degree course in "Immersive Technologies" in Switzerland. The English-language course is aimed at anyone who wants to merge the virtual with the real. This technology will become increasingly important in all sectors, from healthcare to construction.

The Immersive Realities Center offers in-service training in the field of immersive technologies for those interested in industry and business. Here you can choose from two 6-month CAS programs and specialist courses lasting one to several days on focus topics:
