Personalised medicine (also known as precision medicine or individualised medicine), comprises diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic measures that are optimally tailored to an individual. To this end, information (data) on the biological and physiological make-up of a person, including in particular genetic data, is included in the decision-making process for therapeutic and preventive measures for the treatment of that person.
Statistical modelling allows us to develop more effective therapies and fewer side effects in all areas of medicine.
