Overview
Machine learning can make industrial production more efficient, flexible, faster and thus more competitive. Collection of data at an increasing rate allows, on the one hand, the optimization of production and business processes during operation, and on the other hand, it can open up new business models and additional benefits for your customers.
In this course you will learn the theoretical fundamentals and practical skills necessary to successfully apply classification methods. The first part of the course will cover several importants methods by means of real-world-examples. You will also learn general concepts and measures, which allow the evaluation, comparison, and choice of the appropriate machine learning method for your application. In the second part, you will work in teams, supported by coaches, on your own or a given problem. Here, you can use data from your own professional environment, and this way, start to create a first application for your business. In a final presentation you present your model, approach, and results.
