Topics 2020
This year international and Swiss speakers will gather to discuss topics such as thermal energy storage in buildings and in cooling applications as well as ways to use storage materials to achieve temperature precision in processes.
A discussion will be initiated with scientists, industrial stakeholders and users on how to make new research developments broadly accessible to a wider public.

Swiss Competence Center for Energy Research
The «Swiss Symposium Thermal Energy Storage» is aimed at everyone who sees the potential in thermal energy storage systems or would like to gain an in-depth insight into the technological possibilities associated with it. The symposium considers thermal energy storage systems against a wide background of applications and thus enables new solutions to be discussed. The goal of the SSTES is to create a lively dialog between representatives from industry and research in the energy, industry and building technology sectors in order to jointly promote the advancement of thermal energy storage in Switzerland and Europe. The «Swiss Symposium Thermal Energy Storage» is organized by the «Swiss Competence Center for Energy Research (SCCER) Storage of Electricity and Heat».
