The previous ICTB conference was held in Bangkok in January 2015 and was hosted by Mahidol University International College in Thailand.
Around 50 participants accepted the invitation from Mahidol University International College and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts to participate in the first research conference. The 2015 conference saw interesting lectures, exciting discussions, enriching exchanges, and a lively social programme. Presentations on current issues and on specific topics were made in the various conference streams. Particularly rewarding was the methodological diversity and quality of the many quantitative and qualitative studies. Thirty peer-reviewed contributions were presented and discussed at the first ICTB conference. The Best Paper Award went to Karolina Brazyte, Dorothea Schaffner and Fabian Weber for their paper «Online reviews of sustainably managed hotels: How do customers respond to their efforts?»
