None of the information on the website or in the online survey contains any advice or recommendations for diversity management or other decisions.
Binding Language
The German version of the website and survey takes precedence over the English, French or Italian version in the event of any discrepancies between the different versions.
Publication
The results of the survey will be published by BILANZ and by other organizations.
However, no detailed information from the responses to individual questions in the survey will be published without consulting the relevant company. The overall ranking and/or index, by contrast, may be published without consultation.
Confidentiality
The data transmitted to the Institute of Financial Services Zug (IFZ), part of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts - School of Business, as part of the survey will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
Access by third parties to this personal, user, and usage data is excluded. The data will be evaluated solely by the project team of the Institute of Financial Services Zug (IFZ), part of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Business. No other project or cooperation partners will be able to view the individual responses of the companies participating in the survey.
Collection of Data
Personal data:
The website www.diversity-index.ch can be visited without providing any personal data. However, participation as a subject in the Diversity Index research project requires the provision of personal and corporate data.
Usage data:
As part of the Diversity Index research project, user and usage data will be collected from the subjects.
Use of data
The data that is collected will be used solely to carry out the Diversity Index research project, and will not be used for any other purposes.
By taking part in the survey, the participating company consents to the use of its data for carrying out the Diversity Index research project, as well as publication of the company name in the overall ranking and/or index. Any other use of the data within the scope of the research project will only occur in anonymized form.
The data that is collected will remain stored until the definitive conclusion of the project, and will be deleted at the end of the project.
Data Transmission
When transmitting data via the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) it is not possible to protect the data completely against access by third parties.
The Institute of Financial Services Zug (IFZ), part of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Business, accepts no responsibility for any resultant losses that may occur.
Rights to Results
The Institute of Financial Services Zug (IFZ), part of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Business, retains all rights to the results of the research. The university may dispose of these rights as it sees fit.
Acceptance
By participating in the survey and transmitting your data to the Institute of Financial Services Zug (IFZ), part of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts - School of Business, you accept our terms concerning the processing of personal data, and consent to the procedures and provisions of this data privacy statement. This data privacy statement is governed by Swiss law. In the event of disputes, the Swiss courts have sole jurisdiction.

The entire contents of the website and the survey are protected by copyright. Reproduction, transfer (electronic or otherwise), modification, linking, or use, either in full or in part, of the website or the survey, for public or commercial purposes, is forbidden without the prior written consent of the IFZ. Use of this website and the survey and any putative claim against the IFZ and the affiliated companies/organizations, will be governed exclusively by Swiss law.
