The internationally recognised Master of Science in Real Estate (MScRE) is the highest degree in the real estate sector and in Switzerland is only offered at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The core areas of study include both scientifically sound teaching content and practical case studies and content. The leading and innovative course concept is also acknowledged by the sector: Swiss Finance & Property AG awards one grant of CHF 2000 annually to the best student. The nomination criteria include the student's academic performance and extracurricular activities. The grant is indicative of the regard with which the Swiss real estate sector views the training provided by the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts:
