A fundamental principle of the MScRE is the application of theoretically acquired specialist knowledge to the resolution of practical challenges. When this is combined with exceptional creativity and innovation, the result is new solutions for the real estate sector. This is the premise underlying the final presentations of the MScRE in the 2018 spring semester: the students presented innovative investment products including investments in photovoltaic arrays on retail properties, multi-storey car parks, buildings made from old shipping containers and student residential properties. The investment ideas were combined with a matching investment vehicle for institutional investors. The ideas were presented before an international jury and the best were awarded prizes.
The MScRE is the highest degree in the real estate sector and in Switzerland is only offered at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Click here for further information.
