Overview
Our research project focuses on advancing circular economy principles within the electric and electronic industry, particularly regarding sustainable sourcing and utilization of metals. We aim to explore:
- strategic approaches, collaborative initiatives, and policy advocacy efforts undertaken by stakeholders such as manufacturers and recyclers to promote circularity in metal sourcing, use, and recycling
- potential applications of sensor technologies for enhancing efficiency and resource recovery throughout the value chain
Through engaging with key stakeholders, we seek to uncover innovative practices, research and development efforts, and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at driving sustainability and resource efficiency within the electric and electronic sector.
By understanding the current landscape and identifying best practices, our project aims to contribute to the development of strategies and policies that accelerate the transition towards a more circular economy in the industry.
