Overview
In order to comply with future traffic demand, innovative solutions have to be explored to increase traffic
flows into the Swiss Upper Airspace as the first proof of concept and then extended to some other aviation
stakeholders on other airspaces. They should go beyond the current efforts to optimize the current way to
manage air mobility and this is the business goal intended by the proposed initiative.
The project will establish new principles to manage traffic flows in a totally new supported, potentially even
automated way counting on machine decisions produced by algorithms derived from research on Artificial
Intelligence.
