ECTS recognition and requirements
The accreditation of ECTS credits gained in short term programs towards the students degree program at the Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology must be agreed prior to the registration with the head of the according study program. A requirement for receiving the ECTS credits is a written confirmation of participation and successful completion of the course/program. Students can take more than one summer or winter school out of personal interest. However, most degree programs acknowledge ECTS credits for only one summer or winter program per student. Prerequisites for the courses ore programs are defined by the offering institution. Places are normally limited and not guaranteed. First come first serve.
Costs
All costs related to a summer or winter school must be paid by the attending student. Quite often we will publish offers where the tuition fee is being waived and only costs of living and travel costs will occur.
